challenging for the Trust to act without any available funds. There was discussion regarding the <br /> amount of funds available for Mashpee's affordable housing. Mr. Collins responded that he would <br /> look in to the funds available for affordable housing with the Finance Director, as well as consult with <br /> Town Counsel regarding changes to the Affordable Housing Trust. Selectman O'Hara stated that the <br /> purpose of the Affordable Housing Committee was to develop ideas and identify sites for affordable <br /> housing while the Trust would approve or not approve plans, seeking funds in order to develop an <br /> affordable housing project. There was discussion regarding the percentage of affordable housing funds <br /> utilized in affordable housing projects with the Chair noting that Mashpee had among the lowest rates <br /> of funds utilized on Cape. <br /> NEW BUSYNESS <br /> Mashpee Horsing Authority <br /> It was noted that the Affordable Housing Committee wished to work cooperatively with the MHA. <br /> Plans for the Committee <br /> Future plans would be identified following receipt of the results of the Feasibility Study. <br /> EDUCATION/MARKETING <br /> NEWS <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> OTHER BUSINESS <br /> MEETING ADJOURNMENT <br /> There will be further discussion whether the next meeting will be moved to Monday, November 2 at <br /> 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mr. Willard made a motion to adjourn.
