Affordable Housing Committee Trust <br /> There was nothing new to report. The Town Manager planned to pursue the issue and the Chair <br /> recommended that Mr. Johnson follow up. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Plans for the Committee <br /> Chairman Abbott reported that the Affordable Housing Plan would not require an update until <br /> 2020. Mr. Isbitz inquired whether the plan had been submitted and the Chair responded that he <br /> would follow up with the Town Planner as no confirmation had been received, Mr. Isbitz <br /> recommended acquiring the Board of Selectmen minutes that would confirm the Plan had been <br /> approved. Mr. Isbitz will contact DHCD to inquire. The Chair announced that Town Meeting <br /> approved the hiring of an Assistant Town Planner. The Chair will also follow up with the VFW <br /> contact regarding the possibility of pursuing affordable housing at their site. <br /> EDUCATIONIMARKETING <br /> NEWS <br /> The Chair discussed wording changes related to affordable housing and approved at Town <br /> Meeting for some of the Zoning Bylaws, <br /> The Chair referenced the Cape Cod Commission Hearing Notice for Mashpee's Wastewater <br /> Nitrogen Management Plan. <br /> Chairman Abbott referenced an article regarding Habitat for Humanity's Harwich project as well <br /> as other locations in Eastham, West Barnstable, Yarmouth and Chatham. There was also a 16 <br /> home subdivision planned in Brewster. A multi-unit facility, not being built by Habitat for <br /> Humanity, was planned for the outer Cape, but local residents have expressed concern about <br /> increased traffic. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> OTHER BUSINESS <br /> MEETING ADJOURNMENT <br /> There was discussion regarding planning the meeting dates for 2016. The next AHC meeting is <br /> December 1 at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mr. Isbitz made a motion to adjourn. Mr. Johnson seconded the motion.
