Sample options were disclosed <br /> m the study of opportunities.for development. <br /> The feasibility of developing the parcel was considered by the Selectmen, <br /> but deemed a non-economically feasible option at this time. It was noted <br /> that an additional development proposal was recently brought before the <br /> Selectmen by affiliates of The Brain.Center. The matter was taken under <br /> advisement at this time. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Amiens Brief—Towns of Barnstable and Yarmouth: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to.place the above topic on the <br /> Selectmen's agenda, <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> An amicus brief submitted by the Town of Barnstable is-.support of the <br /> Alliance's Motion for Summary Judgment in the ease agai'st the U.S. <br /> Array Corps ofEngineers was presented to the Selectmen for <br /> endorsement. <br /> The intent is to protect Nantucket Sound by opposing the Cape wind <br /> Associates' proposed wind plant project. It was noted that the Town of <br /> Yarmouth has agreed to support the suit. Town Counsel, Kopeh an and <br /> Paige, is presently reviewing the amicus brief on behalf of the Town of <br /> Mashpee. <br /> Motion matte by Selectman Marsters to,loin in snit with the Town o <br /> Barnstable and Town of Yarmouth in support of the Alliance's <br /> Motion for Summary Judgment pending Town Counsel's approval. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane, <br /> VT : Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> i <br />
