i <br /> i <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 2 , Zoo <br /> COMMUNICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Barnstable County Commissioners—Available Funds: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Barnstable Counter Commissioners <br /> dated March 7. 2003 announcing the availability of additional County <br /> funds. Based on the.approved allocation, l lashpee will receive $53,895. <br /> Motion made by Selectmen Cahalane to accept the available County <br /> funds,Round v in the amount of$53,895 to be applied to the T'own's <br /> general fund to assist with the tax base. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> V T'E: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> MMR Update: <br /> The re-circulating well related to the SD-5 SD-5plume in the Briarwood section <br /> of Mashpee has been deactivated. Test readings to date reflect non-detect <br /> status. The well is expected to remain in place and,will be monitored <br /> periodically. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Reconunen ation for Reuvointment—Registrar: <br /> a istrar: <br /> Correspondence was received from the Town Clerk dated March 13, 2003 <br /> reconunendi g the reappointment of Registrar. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalan to re-appoint Susan Regan as <br /> Registrar for a teen to expire March 31, 200 6. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Green. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous.ous. 5-0. <br />
