I Board of Selectmen Minutes June 9, 200 NEW BUSINESS: Re uest for AMroyal ofAcceptance of Conservation Land: For the Selectmen's approval Was a deed to 2.43 ages of land being donated to the Conservation Commission by the owners of the Anchor Self Storage project as a condition of their Cape Cod Commission and Planning Board approval process. The parcel Was inspected and approved by the Health,Agent and accepted by the Conservation Commission at their meeting on May 8, 2003. Boundaries Were identified in the memorandum from the Town Planner dated May 13, 2003. Motion Ornade by Selectman Marsters to approve the Quitclaim Deed, land containing 2.43 acres as described under care, custody and control of the Masbpee Conservation Commission. Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane, VOTE: Unanimous. -0. Cage- Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council Mutual Aid reernent: For informational purposes,the Selectmen Were in receipt of correspondence from Town Counsel dated May 28, 2003 relative to the Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council Mutual Aid Agreement. Mass. Technology Collaborative Grant: Catherine Laurent, Assistant DPW Director Was present to recommend the Selectmen vote to amend the Town's contract with SEMASS and transfer the 2003 allocation from Mass. Technology Collaborative Waste to Energy Grant Program to SENLkSS When received. The Mass. Technology Collaborative Waste to Energy Grant Program is a grant program that distributes to municipal customers of Waste to Energy facilities funds collected by a surcharge on electric bills. The purpose of the program 'is to defray the increases in tipping fees due to capital costs incurred by compliance With new state and federal regulations.
