I <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 9, 200 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Re uest for AMroyal ofAcceptance of Conservation Land: <br /> For the Selectmen's approval Was a deed to 2.43 ages of land being <br /> donated to the Conservation Commission by the owners of the Anchor <br /> Self Storage project as a condition of their Cape Cod Commission and <br /> Planning Board approval process. <br /> The parcel Was inspected and approved by the Health,Agent and accepted <br /> by the Conservation Commission at their meeting on May 8, 2003. <br /> Boundaries Were identified in the memorandum from the Town Planner <br /> dated May 13, 2003. <br /> Motion Ornade by Selectman Marsters to approve the Quitclaim Deed, <br /> land containing 2.43 acres as described under care, custody and <br /> control of the Masbpee Conservation Commission. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane, <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -0. <br /> Cage- Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council Mutual Aid reernent: <br /> For informational purposes,the Selectmen Were in receipt of <br /> correspondence from Town Counsel dated May 28, 2003 relative to the <br /> Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council Mutual Aid Agreement. <br /> Mass. Technology Collaborative Grant: <br /> Catherine Laurent, Assistant DPW Director Was present to recommend the <br /> Selectmen vote to amend the Town's contract with SEMASS and transfer <br /> the 2003 allocation from Mass. Technology Collaborative Waste to <br /> Energy Grant Program to SENLkSS When received. <br /> The Mass. Technology Collaborative Waste to Energy Grant Program is a <br /> grant program that distributes to municipal customers of Waste to Energy <br /> facilities funds collected by a surcharge on electric bills. The purpose of <br /> the program 'is to defray the increases in tipping fees due to capital costs <br /> incurred by compliance With new state and federal regulations. <br />
