BYLAW REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING <br /> THURSDAY,OCTOBER 26,2017 <br /> MASHPEE TOWN CLERK'S OFFICE <br /> Present: Edward Larkin,Deborah Dami, Margaret Santos, Andrew McManus, and Paul <br /> Robillard. <br /> Also Present: Glen Harrington–Health Agent <br /> Ed Larkin, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 4:32 p.m. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Motion: Deborah Dami motioned to approve the minutes of the Organization Meeting of <br /> September 12, 2017; and Paul Robillard seconded this motion. <br /> VOTE: 4-Yes; 1-Abstain. <br /> Margaret Santos–yes Edward Larkin–yes Andrew McManus - abstain <br /> Deborah Dami - yes Paul Robillard–yes <br /> Motion: Paul Robillard motioned to approve the minutes of the Public Hearing of <br /> October 10, 2017, Margaret Santos seconded the motion. <br /> VOTE: 4-Yes; 1-Abstain. <br /> Margaret Santos---yes Edward Larkin–yes Andrew McManus - abstain <br /> Deborah Dami - yes Paul Robillard---yes <br /> Future Meetings <br /> While awaiting Glen Harrington's arrival, Ed Larkin advised that Deb Dami initiated <br /> contacting Mike Mendoza, Building Commissioner, and hopefully he will be available to <br /> attend the next Review meeting to discuss bylaws pertinent to that area of responsibility. <br /> Ed said if possible it would make sense to meet initially with those groups that have more <br /> bylaws to deal with so as to give them time for review and some might even need more <br /> than one meeting to finalize any issues that arise. <br /> In addition to the Building Department review at the next meeting, Deb Dami requested 2 <br /> items be addressed then—namely: <br /> • 30-day Posting Requirement bylaw; and <br /> • Possibly deleting the Subdivision Appeals Board bylaw. <br /> Debbie mentioned that Steve Cook, ZBA, has an issue for review as well. <br />
