Nichols <br /> Attendees: Members: Brian Mauro, Donald MacDonald, Barbara Nichols <br /> Guests: Mike Rapacz <br /> The minutes of the September 28, 2017 meeting were accepted as written after a motion by Brian Mauro <br /> and second by Don MacDonald. <br /> Agenda topics <br /> [Agucla typic 1] Lake level/River autflaw <br /> Discussion: Barbara Nichols took the lake measurements on October 1 st and 15'x'. They were 55.3 and <br /> 55.2 feet above sea level with 12 and 11 inches of water flowing over the board closest to the lake. There <br /> were 10 and 8.5 inches of water in the stream by the stairs. Barbara measured 5.1 inches of rain in her <br /> rain gauge the past month. Levels were sent to Drew McManus in Conservation and he emailed back that <br /> they would be clearing the pathway to the Iadder soon. <br /> Conclusions: The lake level is fairly steady despite a large amount of precipitation. <br /> [Ages atopic 2] Lowell Flally Update <br /> Discussion: An email was received from Diane Lang, superintendent of Lowell Holly Reservation. <br /> She noted that the Harbormaster was going to help her remove the swim buoys from the beach swim area <br /> next week weather permitting. Mike Rapacz said he had been out on the lake the swim buoys had been <br /> removed. Diane also said that the Trustees planned to maintain the same practices in 2018, that is the <br /> beach would have swim boys in place and motorized boats would be prohibited. <br /> Conclusions: Swim buoys have been removed. The swim area will again be roped off to motorized boats <br /> in 2018. <br />
