i .. <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 8, 2003 <br /> NEW BUSINESS. <br /> Letter of Resignation—Treasurer/Tax Collector: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to place the above topic on the <br /> Selectmen's regular agenda. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters,, <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> It was noted that the above referenced agenda topic was removed as an <br /> Executive Session topic of discussion. <br /> Maryann Gibbs, Treasurer/Tax Collector was present to request the <br /> Selectmen approve her resignation. FIs. Gibbs indicated that she would <br /> remain In her position for l*LX weeks to assist with the departmental <br /> transition process. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to accept with regret, the <br /> resignation of Maryann Gibbs as Treasurer/Tax Collector. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to advertise without delay, the <br /> position of Treasurer/Tax Collector. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane, <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Pow Warner Football Acknowledgement: <br /> On behalf of the residents and businesses that contributed to the <br /> development of the Pop Weser football field, Carl McClintock gave an <br /> enthusiastic presentation on construction activities that were paid for by <br /> volunteers, area businesses and Town vide support. An official <br /> presentation will he held at the field on Wednesday at 530 p.m. <br />
