Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 8, 2003 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Recommendation for Bid Acee tance—Archeological Survey: <br /> In response to the Request for Proposal for the intensive (locational) <br /> archaeological survey for the proposed Senior Center, public Archaeology <br /> Laboratory (PAS) of Pawtucket, RI was the low bid firm recommended <br /> for acceptance. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to accept the low bid of$8,217 <br /> from Public Archaeology Laboratory(PAL) as recommended for the <br /> Senior Center project. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marster . <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Execute Town MeetingWarra t: <br /> Articles previously placed on fold were reviewed by the Board of <br /> Selectmen. <br /> Animal Control Officer—Amend proposed Bylaw/Kennel Regulations. <br /> Issue clarified—Article approved for Town Meeting warrant. <br /> Article 20—Land exchange to provide a site for de-watering and disposal <br /> of dredged material from navigation channels of the Mahpe River, <br /> clway Bay, Shoestring Bay and popponeset Bay. <br /> Jing Hanks presented revised wording and a site snap of the intended <br /> parcels proposed for the transfer. It was noted that it is necessary for <br /> Town Counsel to submit the final language for the article as proposed. <br /> Lotion made by Selectman Taylor to approve and execute the <br /> October 20, 2003 Town Meeting warrant pending Town Counsel's <br /> final review and apprNovaL <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o. <br />
