Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 8, 2003 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Proclamation-United Dations I air: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to proclaim October 24, 2003 as <br /> United Dations Day in the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> Vo'i Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Request for Authorization to Execute Power Supply Contract: <br /> The Cape Light Compact has recently released a Request for Proposal for <br /> a power supplier for the Cape and Islands. Upon finalization of the <br /> negotiations, municipalities have a day window to affirm their <br /> commitment to the contract. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to authorize the Town <br /> Administrator to approve and execute the power supply contract on <br /> behalf of the Selectmen for the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Acce Lance of Resignation—IIS Director: <br /> Steven Buss submitted his resignation to the Board of Selectmen as PIIS <br /> Director effective Friday, September 19, 2003. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to accept the resignation of <br /> Steve Buss as MIS Dimetor with regret, and author' a the Town <br /> Administrator to take immediate actions to advertise to fill the <br /> position. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: 'Unanimous. 4- . <br />
