i <br /> i <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 8, 200 <br /> NEW BUSINESS; <br /> Reauest for Pay Differential—Assistant Town Accountant: <br /> The Town Accountant requested a differential pay for the Assistant Town <br /> Accountant during her absence pursuant to the Administrative Union <br /> Contract, Article 1 , Sctlon 1 .2. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marters to approve the pay differential <br /> for Dawn Thayer,Assistant Town Accountant in accordance with the <br /> Administrative Union Contract as referenced. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane* <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Ambulance Abatement-Request.- <br /> The <br /> equest:The Selectmen were in receipt of a bill for hardship abatement for <br /> ambulance transport services. The matter was deferred for additional <br /> information from the Fire Chief. <br /> Memo from MCAT Chairman—Cable Funds: <br /> Andrew Eliason, Mashpee Carle and Advanced Technology Board <br /> (MCAT) remitted con nunication to the Selectmen dated August 28, 2003 <br /> relative to approved funding for the School Department. <br /> Items totaling $18,127 would be dispersed to the School Department from <br /> MCAT funding. The wiring for the cable in the classroom at the Quashnet <br /> School and the LCIS projector for the high school auditorium would be <br /> funded from the % revenue account. The digital editing bay and the <br /> digital video camera would be funded from the capital expense account. <br /> Discussion followed with respect to the capital improvement program <br /> (CIP) budget. It was agreed that future requests would need to be included <br /> within the normal departmental budget process. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Taylor to accept the recommendation o <br /> the MCAT, and approved the expenditure of$18,127 from MCAT to <br /> e disbursed to the School Department as referenced. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> v T'E: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
