The Chair r vi e ed the new website and found discrepancies on the Affordable Housing page. The Board <br /> Secretary will contact IT regarding changes to the page to include correcting the Selectman Liaison to read Torn <br /> O'Hara and removing the Committee vacancy. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS <br /> Zachary's <br /> The Chair stated that he had been contacted about the affordable Housing Committee converting Zachary's into <br /> affordable housing. The Chair added that he was told the site was being considered for a needle distribution <br /> location, another gentlemen-'s club or housing for the homeless. It was noted that the 6 acres site was owned by <br /> Diehard Halperin and for sale at 4 million. The real estate agent has publicized information about the site. <br /> The Chair visited the site and noted that, at present, places like Stop & Shop and local restaurants house <br /> temporary employees in the various apartments. The entire site houses 89 bedrooms., Twelve cottages feature <br /> -9 bedroom units. The Chair has been in contact with Community Builders, who is currently working on a 110 <br /> affordable unit project on the site of two motels in Yarmouth. Community Builders may be interested in <br /> rehabbing the Zachary's site, but not at 4 million. <br /> MEETING ADJOURNMENT <br /> The next meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, July 5 at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mr. Wilfa rd made a motion to adjourn.
