Project and Selectman O'Hara inquired whether the Affordable Housing Committee had a list of existing and <br /> permitted affordable housing units. Mr. Isbitz and the Chair confirmed that they did have a list of existing <br /> affordable housing units and units that would expire. The Chair will follow up with Mr. Fudala regarding the <br /> Blue Castle project. Selectman O'Hara advised that the Committee should have full awareness of pending <br /> projects so that they could attend meetings in support of projects. It was agreed that a pipeline would be a. <br /> helpful tool for upcoming projects. It was noted that Mr. Fudala forwarded the Planning Board agenda to the <br /> Chair, Mr. Isbitz suggested that the Chair should also receive the ZBA and CPC agendas. W. Isbitz <br /> recommended further conversation with Mr, Taylor. There was discussion regarding the Housing Production <br /> Plan. <br /> Heorga u ization <br /> Mr. Ishitz made a motion to nominate Bud Abbott as the Chairman. Mr. Willard seconded the motion. <br /> All voted unanimously. <br /> Mi. Willard made a motion to nominate Berkeley Johnson as the Clerk. Mr. Abbott seconded the motion. <br /> All voted unanimously. <br /> Feasibility Study <br /> The Chair stated that Laura Shufelt had indicated that funds were available to complete the feasibility study at <br /> Falmouth Road. Ms. Shufelt has suggested that the site may not be feasible for more than 60 units but Torry <br /> Fdal a felt that the site could allow for 100 bedrooms. No units were listed in the report. The amount of <br /> $boo Doo has been listed for infrastructure costs but it was thought that the figure for grater was supposed to be <br /> $8 <br /> 0,000. The Chair recommended following up with the new Assistant Town Manager regarding a request for <br /> the additional funds. <br /> Bruce Willard Letter <br /> The Chair reported that a resident frustrated stra,ted about affordable housing in Mashpee drafted a.note to r. Willard <br /> regarding her concerns and perceived treatment. Mr. Willard responded to the resident and both letters were <br /> g g <br /> distributed to Committee members to read. <br /> Tribal Horsing Update <br /> There was no update <br /> NEW IRU SSSS <br /> CPA Funds <br /> The Chair reported that he was in receipt of the records regarding the balance of CPA funds, The current <br /> balance of total CPA funds, as of 2016, was $653,303.05. A minimum of 10% needs to be set aside for <br /> affordable housing. It was noted that $100,000 per year had been set aside for the Mashpee Housing Authority. <br /> The Chair added that $300,000 had also been set aside for affordable housing by the Cape Cod Commission. <br /> E CA's`IoN/MARETI1 <br /> o R #SPONDENCE <br /> Mashpee Commons has distributed their applications for affordable housing and the lottery will be held June 21 <br /> at 4:30 p*m. for the affordable units.
