Taylor also recommended acquiring the 10% affordable housing funds from the CPA to be placed in the <br /> Affordable Housing Trust. Where was discussion regarding rehabbing foreclosed homes but the Chair indicated <br /> that the{Town;previou sly did not wish to be involved with such projects, <br /> Affordable Housing Frust- As discussed. above. MT. Isbitz also mentioned the possibility of hosting an <br /> information session about Affordable able Housing Trusts. Mr, Taylor suggested working with Yarmouth who has <br /> had a successful Trust. <br /> Expiring Use Inventory-Mr. Isbitz stated that the list was available at the CDHC.com website. The <br /> list was updated each year, identifying units that would be expiring within five years. <br /> NEW BUSINE SS <br /> Calendar-There was consensus to continue meeting on the first Tuesda.y of the month. The Chair will <br /> contact Town Clerk. <br /> I.Tpper Cape Housing Idea Exchange Meeting-The Chair felt that the meeting was more focused on <br /> Housing Authorities. <br /> Visit I1 ashpee Commons Apartments-The Chair had been in contact with John Connell regarding the <br /> Mashpee Commons affordable housing lottery which assigned homes to 9 out of 13 applicants. Mr, Connell <br /> explained that they went with a top company located in Newton rather than.HAC. Mr. Connell invited the <br /> Committee to take a tour of the new affordable apartments at 111Ia.shp ee Commons. The Chair will schedule a <br /> time. <br /> ED CATION/MA KE,TIN <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> Provincetown Housing Frust-The Chair referenced new legislation to set aside housing for middle <br /> income earners, such as town employees, school teachers} police etc. <br /> OTHER BUSYNESS <br /> ME E TING ADJOURNMENT <br /> The next meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, January 3 at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mr. Willard made a motion to adjourn.
