Chairman, Jonathan D. Furbush, Board Members William. A. Blaisdell, Ronald <br /> Bonvie, Dom DeBarros, and Associate Members,Norman J. Gould and Sharon Sangeleer <br /> were present. Building Commissioner, Michael Mendoza was also present. Board <br /> Members Scott Goldstein and Brad Pittsley were absent. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> CONTINUED HEARINGS <br /> Chairman Furbush announced that he and the Vice Chairman, Bill Blaisdell will be <br /> stepping down from this hearing. There will only be four (4) members sitting in on this <br /> hearing and therefore all must vote positive for the petition to pass. <br /> 85 Ponnonesset Island Road: Owners,Paul and Madeline Kruzel request a Written Finding <br /> under §174-17, and relief from §174-33 (setback from water and wetlands) to allow for a <br /> deck expansion on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, (Map 106 Parcel 2),Mashpee, <br /> MA. (Continued from October 25, 2017 hearings at the request of the Board). <br /> Mr. Steve Cook, Cotuit Bay Design represented the applicants for this project and decided <br /> to move forward with the hearing. At the last hearing, the Board had questions relating to <br /> the stairs and wanted confirmation from the Building Commissioner. <br /> Acting Chairman,Ron Bonvie stated that the Zoning Enforcement Officer believes that the <br /> stairs would not be part of the setbacks which means that if the stairs are a minimum of 3 <br /> ft.; it would be 35 plus feet.from the deck to the coastal bank. He said as one member he is <br /> in favor of the proposal. <br /> Steve Cook said he revised the plans, and based on the discussion at the last hearing the <br /> deck is now 36 ft. away from the coastal bank, and the existing deck is 35 ft. <br /> Mr. Bonvie polled the Board asking their opinions. Board Member, Dom DeBarros; in <br /> favor, Mr. Gould; in favor and Sharon Sangeleer; in favor. Mr. Bonvie stated that all the <br /> comments were read into the record at the last hearing and still apply. <br /> There were no comments more questions from the Board or audience. <br /> 1 <br />
