7 <br /> Community Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> December 13, 2016 <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS <br /> Friends of the Mashpee National Wildlife Refuge—Refuge Brochure & Trail Maps:_ (continued) <br /> To alleviate any delays,the Community Preservation Committee took the following action; <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Sherman to approve and recommend to the May 2017 Special Town <br /> Meeting,the Refuge Brochure and Mashpee Trail Map Project in the amount of$15,230 <br /> with funding to derive from the 10% Open Space/Recreation Reserve of the CPC. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Shaw. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 6-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr.Halpern,yes Mrs. Buschenfeldt,yes Ms.Waygan,yes <br /> Mrs. Sherman,yes Mr. Shaw,yes Mrs. Thayer,yes <br /> Friends of the Mashpec National Wildlife Refu e—.Wildlife Refuge History: (continued) <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Sherman to approve and recommend to the May 2017 Special Town <br /> Meeting,the MNWR History Project in the amount of$10,130 with funding to derive from <br /> the 10% Historic Reserve of the CPC. <br /> Motion seconded by Mrs. Buschenfeldt. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 6-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr. Halpern,yes Mrs. Buschenfeldt,yes Ms. Waygan,yes <br /> Mrs. Sherman,yes Mr. Shaw,yes Mrs. Thayer,yes <br /> The Friends of the Mashpee National Wildlife Refuge expressed sincere appreciation to the CPC <br /> for moving forward with the projects. It was advised the Friends of the MNWR attend the May <br /> Town Meeting with adequate representation if questions regarding the projects were to arise. <br />
