The Director and the Outreach Coordinator and van drivers continue to meet monthly. <br /> She thanked DPW staff who did repairs on the vehicle and stated the CCRTA staff <br /> performed their annual inspection. <br /> The Director thanked the DPW who performed several repairs on the building such as <br /> replacing ceiling lights and also fixing the frozen pipe in the handicapped bathroom <br /> during the cold weather in February and added insulation to this area. She reported the <br /> copier is nine years old and needed to be serviced again <br /> The Director congratulated the Outreach Coordinator, Darlene Perkins, who was <br /> recognized by the Town as the Employee of the Month, She also congratulated the <br /> mature worker receptionist who graduated from the program and resigned to accept <br /> permanent employment. She noted this training position may not be filled for several <br /> months. She said the Principal Clerk and Office Assistant are taking a training course on <br /> Access thru the Cape Cod Community College. <br /> The Director reviewed several meetings she attended: Department head, Staff, <br /> Parkinson's Support Network of Cape Cod Board of Directors and program <br /> subcommittee, COAST, Mashpee Cares, and Mashpee Human Services Committee, <br /> The Director also said she met with the property tax work off participants, staff from the <br /> Barnstable County Sheriff s Department, participated in a webinar on national mental <br /> health coalitions and met with staff to review and update the newsletter mailing process. <br /> The Director stated her goals are to plan new activities with the Activity Coordinator, <br /> continue update of computer drive and begin planning for volunteer recognition event. <br /> Treasurer Report <br /> The Director distributed the Treasurer's report for the month of February and reviewed <br /> the figures with the members. <br /> Outreach Coordinator Report <br /> In the absence of the Outreach Coordinator, Darlene Perkins, the Director distributed the <br /> Outreach Coordinator Report for February. She highlighted her home visits, health <br /> insurance issues, housing issues and filling out housing applications, fuel assistance, <br /> hoarding issues, and the mailbox stickers program, The Director also noted the Outreach <br /> Coordinator met with the domestic violence officer from Mashpee Police Department and <br /> the brown bag program had 30 participants with 7 volunteers. <br /> The Outreach coordinator meets monthly with volunteers, 11 Mashpee residents turned <br /> 90+ and received flowers, met with 2 new matches made for Friendly Visitors and <br /> telephone a friend. <br /> Volunteer Coordinator Report <br />
