Director Waterman distributed the volunteer coordinator report for May and noted she <br /> has been working with the volunteer committee to focus on the Volunteer Recognition <br /> Breakfast to be held on June 10, The Volunteer of the Year is Mr. Chang Lee who has <br /> been volunteering for us for many years as a driver and also helps with the newsletter <br /> and the Rookie of the Year is Geraldine Gohring. The Volunteer Coordinator prepared <br /> scrolls with"gratitude thoughts"that they can share with the other volunteers. <br /> Motion: Ginny McIntyre moved to accept the Volunteer Coordinator Report, <br /> seconded by Mary Gaffney. Vote unanimous 6-0 <br /> ACTIVITY COORDINATOR REPORT <br /> The Director distributed the Activity Coordinator Report for May and highlighted several <br /> programs: A Question and Answer Session on Funerals and Pre-Planning, Discussion on <br /> Ageism/Eider Stereo Typing, Optimal Kitchen, Basic Tips and Tricks for Windows 10, <br /> Meet the Mashpee Animal Control Officer. <br /> Motion: Ernie Cornelssen moved to accept the Activity Coordinator Report, <br /> seconded by Jean Noussee. Vote unanimous 6-0 <br /> Old Business <br /> The Director distributed a COAST(Cape and Islands Senior Center Directors) <br /> presentation that was recent done. The Director distributed a copy of the History of the <br /> Senior Center Timeline that she compiled. This will be available in the Senior Center <br /> Library and will include some of the information in the newsletter. <br /> New Business <br /> Ernie Cornelssen reviewed the nominating committee's recommendations on the Council <br /> on Aging's reorganization: Ernie Cornelssen as Chairman,Norah McCormick as Vice <br /> Chairman, Marijo Gorney as Secretary and Virginia McIntyre as Treasurer. <br /> Motion: Mary Gaffney moved to accept the recommendations, seconded by Jean <br /> Noussee. Vote unanimous. 6-0 <br /> Massachusetts Councils on Aging/Executive Office of Elder Affairs <br /> The Director stated she was recertified as one of the State's program managers. <br /> Motion: Mary Gaffney moved to adjourn, seconded by Ginny McIntyre.
