Principal Clerk completed a computer training course and she and the Office Assistant <br /> will continue taking courses on the computer. <br /> The Director met with the gardening volunteer to plan for the new growing season and <br /> thanked her and the other volunteers for planting the pots at the entryway and on the patio <br /> and for maintaining them over the summer. The Director also worked with a new <br /> volunteer who will be maintaining the books in our library and with the Volunteer <br /> Coordinator in planning for the annual recognition event to be held on June 10. <br /> The Director reviewed the meetings she attended. The Director stated her goals are to <br /> complete end of fiscal year tasks and write the formula grant. <br /> Motion: Ernie Cornelssen moved to accept the Director's report, seconded by Jean <br /> Noussee. Vote unanimous 6-0 <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT <br /> Director Waterman distributed the budget report for the month of May and briefly <br /> reviewed the numbers with only June remaining. <br /> Motion: Ginny McIntyre moved to accept the Treasurer's Deport, seconded by <br /> Mary Gaffney. Vote unanimous 6-0 <br /> OUTREACH COORDINATOR'S REPORT <br /> The Director distributed her report for the month of May. She noted the Outreach <br /> Coordinator was attending a training course. The Director reviewed the Outreach �� p <br /> Coordinator's report highlighting the home visits, office appointments which include <br /> information on transportation referrals for home sei vices, health insurance issues, ] <br /> housing issues, hoarding issues and fuel assistance. The Outreach Coordinator gave an <br /> overview of the information requested such as homecare, transportation, etc. The <br /> Coordinator also met with the domestic violence officer from the Mashpee Police <br /> department concerning matters of seniors needing referrals for services on domestic < <br /> issues. She noted there were 28 participants in the Brown Bag Program with 7 <br /> volunteers. <br /> The Outreach Coordinator meets monthly with volunteers. 3 Mashpee residents turned <br /> 90+ and received flowers, met with one new match made for Friendly Visitors and <br /> continues to meet with the volunteers on a regular basis. She attended CPR training <br /> Certification and SHINE Benefits. The Outreach Coordinator reviewed the meetings she <br /> attended. <br /> Motion: Mary Gaffney moved to accept the Outreach Coordinator's Report, <br /> seconded by Ginny McIntyre. Vote unanimous 6-0 <br /> VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR REPORT <br />
