There was some discussion about using a soft <br /> engineering solution; however, the consultant argued that such an approach <br /> would require regular maintenance and repair, thus jeopardizing any mitigation <br /> that is required from this project. If a soft solution fails, the vegetation planted <br /> would inevitably be disturbed for the purposes of repairing and/or replacing the <br /> soft solution. The Agent reviewed the Commission's requests following the last <br /> hearing as described by Mr. Landers-Cauley. He didn't have any other <br /> comments and felt Mr. Landers-Cauley accommodated the commission's <br /> suggestions.
