Conservation Commission Minutes �5 <br /> Thursday, April 28, 2016 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall <br /> Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> CALL MEETING TO ORDER: <br /> Chairman Brad Sweet called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m. <br /> PRE/POST-HEARING AGENDA: <br /> No business from the public <br /> • Minutes: Approve April 14, 2016 Minutes <br /> Hold until next meeting <br /> Update: New proposed Adjudicatory hearing date— 118, 124, 126 Shore Drive West <br /> project. <br /> The Agent stated there is a new date for the Adjudicatory hearing which is August 4 at 9:00 <br /> a.m. <br /> • ADDITIONAL TOPICS <br /> (This space is reserved for topics that the Chairman did not reasonably anticipate would <br /> be discussed). <br /> HEARINGS: <br /> 6:00- Kenneth D. and Linne W. Ursaki, 114 Wheeler Road. Proposed expansion of <br /> existing deck and installation of mitigation plantings. At request of Applicant, continued from <br /> 4/94/2016. —NOI <br /> Resource Area: Inland Bank, Sandy Beach, Ashumet Pond <br /> Kenneth Ursaki, homeowner, stated they are proposing a 288 square foot deck over the <br /> lawn area on the property and some additional native plant growth. The Agent showed the <br /> condition of the bank on the photos provided. The proposed deck is within the buffer zone. <br /> The entire area is predisturbed but the deck is moving closer to the buffer zone so <br /> mitigation has been triggered. A mitigation plan has been submitted and there will be some <br /> buffer strip plantings where none exist. No part of the construction of the deck will affect <br /> the stability of the bank. The Agent stated the project meets the performance standards <br /> and recommended a close and issue. <br /> There were no comments from the public <br />
