Applicant is going to meet
with the Historical Commission on December 21St; and then they will meet with
the Planning Board in the evening.
Mike Mendoza said that he had read some information that he had gotten from
the Town Planner, but needed more information due to an incomplete sentence.
Peter Murner apologized and said that at A4 on the Plans the complete sentence
is "to make it a more barn-like look".
Peter said the building color now proposed will be dark cranberry. Peter showed
on the Site Plans the changes proposed, including additional windows at the one
side to give customers a better view of the equipment inside. Joe Cummings
said he likes the proposed color, but he questioned the large windows at the
side. Peter said they cannot be seen from the roadway. Mike Mendoza
suggested perhaps Design Review would make the condition that those trees at
that corner side are to be preserved to ensure the building is not seen from the
roadway. Joe Cummings said with that condition that may satisfy the Historical
Commission.
Mike Mendoza stated that there were to be within the cupola. Peter Murner
agreed to this. Peter said they will just have lights at the sign and on the property
as indicated.
Peter showed the door placement change so that the back hall would be for staff
only; and customers wouldn't use the hall to access the patio.
