Approval with Ad'ustment M.O'Brien made a motion to fund Henry Lappen (Henry the Juggler, Oktoberfest) in the adjusted amount from $425.00 to$350 (-$75.00). R. Mendes seconded the motion. All in favor. Denials N. Cocomazzi made a motion to deny the request from Janet Burke (Keith Michael Johnson, sponsored by MPL) in the amount of$530.00. J. Miller seconded the motion. All in favor. D.Thayer abstained. B. Taggart made a motion to deny the request from Kirk Whipple (Duo Pianists, no sponsor/venue) in the amount of $500.00. J. Miller seconded the motion. All in favor. J. Miller made a motion to deny the request from Sean Sullivan (Police Appreciation, sponsored by MPD) in the amount of$500. R. Mendes seconded the motion. All in favor. D.Thayer abstained. B. Taggart made a motion to deny the request from Carolyn Savage (Online Privacy Basics, sponsored by MPL) in the amount of$500.00. J. Miller seconded the motion. All in favor. D. Thayer abstained. D.Thayer made a motion to approve the amount of$675.00 for a Mashpee Cultural Council program. J. Miller seconded the motion. All in favor, R. Mendes made a motion to allot$205 for administrative costs. N. Cocomazzi seconded the motion. All in favor. Amount Requested: $4,815.00 MCC Program: $ 675.00 MCC Administrative Costs: S 205.00 Total $5,695.00 Denial letters will be mailed out On November 15, 2016 (15 days to reconsider). Approval Letters will go out after the December 5th meeting if there are no Reconsideration requests. Members were asked to think about a MCC program and to bring their ideas and suggestions for discussion at the next meeting.
