MASHPEE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND INDUSTRIAL CORPORATION <br /> MINUTES OF MEETING HELD <br /> TUESDAY, MAY 31,2016 <br /> TOWN HALL—ADMINISTRATIVE CONFERENCE ROOM <br /> Present: Carol Sherman, Chairman <br /> Terrie Cook <br /> Dino Mitrokostas <br /> Mary LeClair <br /> Denise Dutson <br /> Absent: Robyn Simmons <br /> Robert Cobuzzi <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> Chairman Dino Mitrokostas opened the meeting at 5:30 p.m. <br /> 2. Approval of Minutes <br /> Approval of April 12,2016 minutes <br /> Motion.: Carol Sherman moved to approve the April 12,2016 minutes as presented, <br /> seconded by Denise Dutson. Vote 5-0 <br /> 3. Treasurer's Report <br /> Terrie Cook reported as of April 29, there is a balance of$33,1.98.04 in EDIC's regular <br /> account at Cape Cod Five and $350,198.04 in the money market account. <br /> 4. Old Business <br /> The newly elected Chair, Dino Mitrokostas, thanked Carol Sherman for all she has done <br /> as the Chair of FDIC. <br /> Policies and Procedures <br /> The Chair noted he would like to move forward and give businesses incentives to come <br /> to Mashpee. He said he would like the members to work on the rewriting of the zoning <br /> bylaws. Terrie Cook felt EDIC should make this one of their priorities and have it be <br /> independent of the commission but noted they will need support from the Board of <br /> Selectmen. Carol Sherman said she will have this included on the agenda for the <br /> Selectmen's meeting for Monday to discuss supporting FDIC's rewriting of the Zoning <br /> Bylaw. <br />
