There was a discussion regarding the town's website and Terrie Cook said the Town of
Mashpee has just developed a new website and ERIC needs to know how to update and
put information on this website.and said she would like to learn how to do that. It was
decided to contact the IT personnel. Someone has to make it part of their weekly duties.
It is a brand new website and Carol Sherman said she will find out how to work on this
and how EDIC can work on it as a board.
There was a discussion on developing the policies and procedures. According to town
counsel, EDIC is limited to what they can do as a board. If someone wants to go into one
of the industrial lots that is when ERIC can try and help. Carol Sherman noted Design
Review Board meets every Tuesday morning at 9:00 and suggested EDIC be sent a list of
applications. The Chair said he would be available to attend these meetings. Terrie Cook
said their meeting agendas are available on the town's website under News and
Announcements.
Denise Dutson inquired about where FDIC can get monies and it was noted EDIC is on
hold until we have a professional person, either the assistant town manager or a director.
Ter ie Cook suggested it may be time for the members to look through the
Mashpee/Falmouth ERIC Partnership Plan from December 2011. She said there are a lot
of good ideas for potential funding and technical assistance.
The Chair concluded by saying EDIC is here to benefit the whole town and bring in
quality businesses and employers.
Next Meeting: June 14,2016 * 5:30 p.m.
Motion: Carol Sherman moved to adjourn, seconded by Terric Cook. Vote
unanimous. 6-0
Meeting Adjourned 6:24 p.m.
espectfu Submitted,
Judy aigneaul
Recording Secretary
