MASHPEE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND INDUSTRIAL CORPORATION <br /> MINUTES OF MEETING HELD <br /> OCTOBER 6, 2015 <br /> TOWN HALL--ADMINISTRATIVE CONFERENCE ROOM <br /> Present: Carol Sherman, Chairman <br /> Terrie Cook <br /> Robyn Simmons <br /> Dino Mitrokostas <br /> Bob Cobuzzi <br /> Tom Mayo, Assistant Town Manager <br /> 1. Carol Sherman, Chairman, opened the meeting at 5:31 p.m. <br /> 2. Approval of Minutes—April 14, 2015 <br /> Minutes tabled until next meeting <br /> 3. Old Business <br /> 1. Settlement of litigation regarding escrow account dispute—update <br /> Tom Mayo announced the litigation is complete and read the stipulation of dismissal. All <br /> claims for all parties shall be voluntarily dismissed with prejudice. All claims of the <br /> parties are released and waived by stipulation. Parties shall bare all costs and attorney <br /> fees. All rights of appeal are also waived. A 50-50 split of all escrow proceeds. <br /> 2. Sale of 117 Industrial Drive Extension-- update <br /> Tom Mayo announced the sale of 117 Industrial Drive extension went thru in May with <br /> the agreed upon price of$380,000 The funds are in FDIC's account. The buyers are <br /> Dan McLaughlin and Michael Szarlan dba as Clipper Landscape, <br /> 4. New Business <br /> 1. Treasurers Report <br /> In the absence of Treasurer Mary LeCIair, Terrie Cook was pleased to announced after <br /> the sale of the property discussed above, there is $390,456,48 in EDIC's account. <br /> 2. Attorney's Fees <br /> Tom Mayo stated the attorney's fees, all inclusive, totaled $6,149.00 including closing <br /> costs. The town paid these costs and EDIC will now reimburse the town. <br />
