-2-
New Business: The DPW came in on December 21"to install a picture rail around the wails in the
Archives. We are now in the process of deciding which maps and pictures we would like to hang up.
Hopefully we will be able to change some of them from time to time. We also have a few pictures which
will be permanently installed on our left side wall by the stairway leading to our basement storage and
workroom.
Last week Bonnie Maresh, who lives in Waquoit, visited the Archives. Nancy had contacted her by
phone and arranged a meeting. Bonnie is an artist who works with stained glass. The Archives has a
beautiful stained glass Indian head window hanging donated to us by Mr. Robert Lynch, former Mashpee
Historical Commissioner, in 1996,which was made by his wife, Evelyn Lynch. The art piece needs to
have a repair made to the existing lead frame, and also reframed in order to hang it properly. Nancy will
follow up with Ms.Maresh during the winter to get this project completed.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:15am.
