HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE—PUBLIC SESSION <br /> JULY 21,2016—2:00 P.M. <br /> MASHPEE TOWN HALL—OCKWAY MEETING ROOM <br /> Committee Members Present: Also Present: <br /> John Calahane Gail Wilson, Human Services Director <br /> Lynne Waterman <br /> Veronica Warden <br /> Mary Bradbury <br /> Frank Fantasia <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairman John Calahane called the meeting to order at 2:05 p.m. <br /> The Director welcomed Frank Fantasia to the Human Services Committee and the <br /> members introduced themselves. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS—None <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Review of minutes from May 19,2016 <br /> Motion: Lynne Waterman moved to accept the minutes of May 19,2016 as . <br /> presented, seconded by Veronica Warden. Vote unanimous 5-0 <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Discussion: Human Services Initiatives for FY 2017 <br /> The Director reviewed the Human Services Initiatives for FY 2017 that she provided to <br /> the members in their packets. She explained the initiatives proposed and stated she is <br /> open to any comments. <br /> Initiative#1: Substance Use and Mental Health. The Director explained she met with <br /> Tara Carline from the police department and are looking at what services can be put into <br /> place and will be meeting with the new CEO of Gosnold to talk about what options are <br /> available <br />
