Landscape Project Discussion • Kathy Mahoney reported that after she and Carlo reviewed the final plan late Sunday evening(August 7), she promptly forwarded it to DPW Director, Catherine Laurent,for review. Kathy talked with Catherine this morning(August 9)to review the Plan and Catherine posed the questions re irrigation system. • On the 2 options,Catherine Laurent suggested to pass on taking the options because DPW could assist with the irrigation and watering. Also,rather than hiring someone to build a basic trellis,DPW could do that for the Library if given the basic design. • Catherine also indicated that if Library wanted to do the landscaping for the whole area in one sweep, DPW could commit some resources to do the rest,depending on time of year. Kathy said she and Catherine looked at picnic tables and suggest at least one table should be ADA accessible. Therefore,table would have to be placed on some type of hard surface, such as some type of concrete,plus a paved pathway would be needed from the sidewalk to the table. • Catherine Laurent is going to get price quotes for the picnic tables. Carlo said hopefully next month Trustees can address and finalize this project proposal. Joan Lyons wanted to know whether or not the pollinator garden is still in the Plan. Kathy Mahoney will check into this. Approval of Minutes Marcia Maclnnis motioned to approve the Regular Meeting minutes of June 14, 2016 as presented. Motion was seconded by Joan.Lyons.
