Hi`h Definition discussion continued <br /> Bill Nay advised FCC put out a fact-finding inquiry in March to see if Comcast might be discriminating against <br /> local TV channels. Dan Riley commented that"discrimination"is a good approach. Dan said that is how Spanish <br /> stations succeeded—under discrimination claim. <br /> Bill Nay said Mashpee TV is part of State TV organizations and they are hying to get amendments passed to force <br /> Comcast to provide High Definition. <br /> Lolita McCray mentioned an article in the newspaper that reported in Canada subscribers now have ability to pick <br /> whatever channels they want and pay to receive only those channels they want. <br /> Wayne Taylor noted Bill Nay has done a great job of broadcasting events all around Town; Mashpee TV did <br /> candidate's night for each candidate; Bill's been very active getting broadcasting on; and will be listing a guide of <br /> upcoming events. Mashpee TV going to have a generator to be able to broadcast in emergency situations. <br /> Control Room <br /> Andrew Eliason said nothing to report except to mention that the"on air" light does not work now and maybe that <br /> can be looked at to get back in the system sometime in the future.
