Y ry <br /> Ir <br /> [V) <br /> x N <br /> W <br /> r \Y <br /> � t�• <br /> 00-1�•. `�� bay '•.r`J <br /> MASHPEE CABLE AND ADVANCED <br /> TECHNOLOGY ADVISORY BOARD <br /> MINUTES OF MEETING HELD <br /> TUESDAY,FEBRUARY 23,2016 <br /> TOWN HALL—WAQUOIT MEETING ROOM <br /> Present: Andrew Eliason <br /> Dan Riley <br /> Lolita McCray <br /> Also Present: David DelVecchio—Director of Information Technology <br /> Rodney Collins—Town Manager <br /> Christine Willander—Administrative Assistant <br /> Wayne Taylor—BOS Liaison to Mashpee TV <br /> William Nay—General Manager, Mashpee TV <br /> Andrew Eliason, Chairman, called the meeting of the MCAT Board to order at I p.m. <br /> Roll Call was taken. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Motion: Dan Riley motioned to approve the minutes of November 12,2015; Lolita McCray seconded the motion. <br /> VOTE: Yes-3. <br /> Roll Call Vote: Andrew Eliason,yes Dan Riley,yes Lolita McCray,yes <br /> Town Manager Request <br /> Rodney Collins,Town Manager,presented a request for funding in the amount of$57,000 for IT-related expenses <br /> that are needed for building renovations and move of Recreation Department to Heritage Park building,which <br /> include: bridge technology; security cameras for Town Hall and new Recreation Department building; 2 signature <br /> card readers;phone equipment; and cabling. <br /> Andrew Eliason stated that this request is a change of pace in that equipment funding requests to MCAT are <br /> generally tied to telecommunications/PEG services that we administer. <br /> Chief Collins explained that budgeted monies were already earmarked for building renovations but had to be <br /> applied to unanticipated costs and Town now hying to offset technology costs via MCAT funding. <br />
