Minutes of Meeting of " <br /> Mashpee Plan Review Committee <br /> Held Tuesday, January 19, 2016 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoi:t Meeting Room <br /> Plan Review Members Present: <br /> Michael Mendoza, Building Commissioner <br /> Catherine Laurent, DPW Director <br /> Tom Fudala, Town Planner <br /> Glen Harrington – Health Agent <br /> Andrew McManus, Conservation Agent <br /> Tom Mayo, Assistant Town Manager <br /> John Phelan, Deputy Fire Chief (arrived 9:42 a.m.) <br /> Audience: Sam Houghton – Mashpee Enterprise <br /> Michael Mendoza called the meeting to order at 9:34 a.m. <br /> 73 Mercantile Way <br /> Business: Premier Companies <br /> Agent: Michael Ford, Esq. <br /> Engineer: Baxter Nye Engineering & Surveying <br /> Proposed Use: Automobile collision center including <br /> Repairing and painting of automobiles <br /> Mike Ford (Attorney), Matt Eddy (Engineer), and Joe Laham (Business owner) appeared. Attorney <br /> Ford addressed the meeting. <br /> • Proposal is for a collision center, including repairing, cleaning, and washing of autos. Washing <br /> an accessory to repairs—no separate car washing. <br /> • Proposed building to be about 9,976 square feet on approximately 3-112 acre lot in an <br /> industrial zone. <br /> • Special Permit required from ZBA. <br /> Matt Eddy presented the Site Construction Plans. <br /> • Address is 73 Mercantile Way. <br /> • Property is bound to South by Industrial Park; at North is Mercantile Way; and East is Great <br /> Hay Road and Great Neck Woods Cemetery. <br /> • Existing site is undeveloped. <br /> Existing public utilities—underground water, electric and gas were installed for Mercantile Way <br /> so all public water and utilities are available at front. <br /> • Proposed Building and building lot meets all zoning setbacks. <br /> • Proposing 2 front entranceways off of Mercantile. <br /> • Applicant met with Fire Department—no questions1modifications arose for access. <br /> • 66 parking spaces required, but they provide 75 overall, including 3 handicap spaces at front <br /> 'k for customers.
