Motion: Mr. Shaw moved to Close and Issue with the condition they notify DEP <br /> about the project, seconded by Mr. Smith. Vote unanimous 5-0 <br /> Katelyn Cadoret updated the Commission on several activities: <br /> AmeriCorps' new season started October 'I. They will be working on the traits at John's <br /> Pond and the installation of stairs at Santuit Pond. A new pollinator garden was added <br /> to the Santuit Pond parking area. She'is helping Natural Resources with Shellfish <br /> Propagation. She noted she may have seen a rusty patched bumblebee which is <br /> endangered at the community garden pollinator garden. She submitted pictures to the <br /> Bumblebee Watch. She noted dumping has seemed to increase townwide. The person <br /> who did the damage at John's Pond is requesting a hearing. Three citations were <br /> issued at $300 each with additional restitution for the guardrail and replanting the <br /> vegetation that was destroyed. <br /> Katelyn informed the Commissioners. The Friends of the National Wildlife Refuge will be <br /> holding a meeting on November 2 at WEBNER. The Sea Run Brook Trout Coalition will <br /> be there to present on what they are doing. She also announced Trout Unlimited added <br /> Mashpee National Wildlife Refuge as one of the 30 great American places to fish for <br /> trout. <br /> Motion: Mr. Smith moved to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Shaw.
