The woody <br /> structure is improving the trout habitat. <br /> The Agent reported the Town qualified for a $50,000 grant to have an engineering study <br /> for a culvert at Sampson's Hill Road that will be replaced with a box flow. The Cape Cod <br /> Water Resources Grant Program which is under the Natural Resources Conservation <br /> Association received over 10 million dollars from the Federal Government to do another <br /> round of funding. The top priority projects for Mashpee are: John's Pond Fish Ladder, <br /> the culvert at Santuit River for construction and stormwater runoff at Quinnequissett <br /> Avenue. <br /> 6:18 .Michael Traverso, Jr. and Judith C. Traverso, 14 Kim Path. Proposed septic <br /> system upgrade. RDA <br /> Resource Area: LSCSF <br /> Peter McEntee, Engineering Works, represented.the applicants. The proposal is to <br /> remove the old cesspool and part of the existing leaching system and replacing with <br /> clean sand. One oak tree will need to be removed. The existing septic tank and pump <br /> chamber will remain and a new soil absorption system will be installed as shown on <br /> plan. Areas disturbed will be restored with loam and seed. <br /> The Agent noted the application has been submitted to the Board of Health and under <br /> review for a conditional Title V system for an existing three bedroom dwelling. <br /> No comment from the public <br /> Motion: Mr. Shaw moved a Negative Determination, seconded by Mr. Smith. He stated the lower portion of the revetment wall is failing and <br /> proposes to reconstruct this portion of the wall as well as the stairs, He stated there will <br /> be no adverse impact to the water body or coastal resource areas from material or equip <br /> and will not alter any coastal resource areas. The proposed project will re-stabilize the <br /> existing revetment which will also re-stabilize the coastal bank which is vital to protect <br /> the upland area from coastal storm. He stated after completing the access road the <br /> contractor will begin removing the rock units and described the construction process. <br /> When the project is complete the staging area will be cleaned and the access road shall <br /> be graded to pre-existing conditions. He said the staircase will be rebuilt in a similar <br /> footprint and similar method that it is right now. Work will also be done on the wing part <br /> of the wall because there is significant erosion. <br /> The Agent suggested they contact DEP, Chapter 91 to inform them of the project. <br /> 4 <br />
