Town of Maslipee <br />'letuc�. ?Ylr�sh��en, Ictssaclti�sctis 02649 <br />MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />MARCH 8, 2017 <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Wednesday, March 8, <br />2017, at 6:00 p.m. in the Waquoit Room at the Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck Road <br />North. Chairman, Jonathan D. Furbush, Board Members William A. Blaisdell, Dom <br />DeBarros, and Associate Members, Brad Pittsley and Norman J. Gould were present. <br />Building Commissioner, Michael Mendoza was also present. <br />Chairman Furbush opened the meeting at 6:00 pm and announced that the meeting is being <br />televised live on Mashpee TV. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />NEW HEARINGS <br />11 Black Watch ,Way: Ower, Cynthia D. Porciello requests a Variance of the side yard <br />setback under § 174-31 of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for construction of a breezeway, den, <br />and a one car attached garage addition on property located in an R-5 Zoning District, Map <br />16 Parcel 60, Mashpee, MA. (Owner is requesting a continuance until the next scheduled <br />hearing date). <br />Mr. Pittsley read the applicant's request for continuance letter into the record. Mr. Blaisdell <br />made a motion to accept the continuance until Wednesday, April 12, 2017. Mr. Gould <br />seconded. All were in favor of the continuance request. <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />67 Monahansett Road: Petitioner, Cary Orlandi, of Millbrook Modular Homes requests <br />a minor modification to an approved Written Finding (Finding -2016-34). Minor <br />modifications were made to the site plan and house plans. <br />Mr. Cary Orlandi, Builder addressed the Board stating he needs to clarify the variances <br />depicted on the site and house plans. He said the original house was demolished and they <br />kept the existing foundation. Mr. Orlandi said the previous engineer's plan showed the <br />foundation being 36 ft. 1 inch when the actual foundation is 35 ft. 11.5 inches. Mr. Odandi <br />said when the engineer measured the house there might have been some slack in the tape. <br />Mr. Furbush consulted with Mr. Mendoza to confirm that the revisions to the new plans <br />were correct. Mr. Mendoza said yes, and that the local inspector noticed the discrepancy <br />on the previous plans and questioned it. Mr. Blaisdell and Mr. Furbush had a discussion <br />with the other Board members and wanted to confirm that they were satisfied with the <br />revised plans before making a motion. <br />
