�S5 Town of Mashpoe <br />16 Ur eat deck q apa 7,,b 7, <br />MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />APRIL 26, 201.7 <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Wednesday, April 26, <br />2017, at 6:00 p.m, in the Waquoit Room at the Mashpec Town Hall, 16 Great Neck Road <br />North. Chairman, Jonathan D. Furbush, Board Member Scott Goldstein, and Associate <br />Members, Brad Pittsley and Norman J. Gould were present. Building Commissioner, <br />Michael Mendoza was also present. Board Members Ron Bonvie, Bill Blaisdell and Dom <br />DeBarros were absent. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Chairman Furbush announced that the meeting was televised live on Mashpee TV. He <br />announced that every petitioner is entitled to have five (5) ZBA Board members present to <br />hear their petition. As with every petition, in order to have the petition pass their must be <br />four positive votes. When five board members are present, there can be four positive votes <br />and one negative vote and the petition will still pass. Given this fact, you will need all four <br />Board members to vote positive for the petition to pass. You can be granted a continuance <br />for the next meeting. <br />Mike Borselli approached the Board and asked Chairman Furbush if he could withdraw <br />without prejudice if he felt the direction of the Board was not in his favor. Chairman <br />Furbush agreed to his request. <br />NEW HEARINGS <br />41 Greenwood Road: Owner, Ellen J. Harris requests a Variance to allow for a shed to <br />be placed less than one foot from the rear and side yard setback under §174-31 of the <br />Zoning Bylaws on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, and Popponesset Overlay <br />District, Map 117 Parcel 312, Mashpee, MA. <br />Chairman Furbush read an email dated April 25, 2017 into the record; the applicants for 41 <br />Greenwood Rd (shed application) decided to continue their hearing until the next meeting <br />date on Wednesday, May 10° 2017 because there were only four board members present. <br />Mr. Goldstein made a motion to continue 41 Green Wood Road, Mr. Gould seconded, Mr. <br />Furbush yes, Mr. Pittsley, yes. All were in favor to continue the hearing until Wednesday, <br />May 10, 2017. <br />27 Monomoscoy_Road West: Owners, Steven and Christine Babineau request a Special <br />Permit under § 174-25 (1) (9) of the Zoning Bylaws to reconstruct an existing licensed dock <br />and additional guest parking on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, Map 114 Parcel <br />18, Mashpee, MA. <br />1 <br />
