-MOUs with Private W W TP Owners -On hold while awaiting completion of the studies <br />VOUCHER SIGNATURES <br />-GHD $7,771_.50 and $4,1_97.60- The Chair reported that there was a bill from GHD for the <br />collection system Mashpee Wampanoag project totaling $7,771.50, which was inadvertently paid <br />for by the Board of Selectmen engineering account. The BOS has requested paperwork to <br />withdraw the funds from the Sewer Commission's $90,000 contract budget. <br />MOTION: Mr. Lyons made a motion to reimburse the Board of Selectmen for their <br />financial error. Mr. Burns seconded the motion.. All voted unanimously. <br />The Commissioners signed the paperwork. <br />A bill in the amount of $4,197.60 was received from GHD for May services including review of <br />town reported data, development of preliminary pump station locations, development of Sewer <br />CAD model and preliminary collection system planner profile. <br />MOTION: Mr. Lyons made a motion to pay. Mr. Burns seconded the motion. All voted <br />unanimously. <br />Commissioners signed the voucher. <br />-Subscription-$174 for Water Environment Federation membership, expiring June 30. The <br />voucher will not be submitted until the new fiscal year begins. <br />MOTION: Mr. Lyons made a motion to pay $174 for membership in the Water <br />Environment Federation. Mr. Burns seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br />Commissioners signed the voucher. <br />INTERMUNICIPAL ISSUES <br />-IMAs with Adjacent Towns -As discussed above <br />-Status of MMR Utility Planning -The Chair reported that the Air Force may not be disposing <br />at the Base for another 5 years. <br />Falmouth Issues -The Moonakis River study proposal continues, but is expensive. An update <br />was provided at the last meeting. <br />Barnstable Issues -The Chair met with Barnstable's DPW director today about the Popponesset <br />project <br />Sandwich Issues -The Chair met with Dave Mason and the Sandwich Town Manager regarding <br />their wastewater planning. <br />OTHER ITEMS <br />-Report on Effects of Reduced Atmospheric Nitrogen Concentrations -The Chair has been <br />appointed the Mashpee alternate member to the Cape Cod Water Collaborative and will attend <br />the meetings. The Chair provided a report to Commissioners highlighting nitrogen loading over <br />the last 50 years in relation to the Clean Water Act. The clean-up of coal fired power plants have <br />2 <br />
