Anastasia Rudenko, GHD, gave a slide presentation of the Existing WWTF and Collections <br />System Evaluation — Update (copy attached). The presentation included feasibility studies, <br />proposed phasing map, Wampanoag WWTF, study area flows, Mashpec Commons WWTF, <br />Mashpee Commons WWTF Design Flow Development, Proposed Amendment I. Sewer CAD <br />Summary and Sewer CAD Areas <br />Following a lengthy discussion on the presentation, a motion was suggested to agree to the <br />amendment to the contract to shift the expenditures from the plant inspections to expanded <br />SewerCAD collection system modeling areas but GHD will still have to bring us a final contract <br />to vote on. <br />Motion: Mr. Lyons moved to agree to the amendment to the GHD contract subject to <br />receiving the confirmation in writing to proceed to reallocate the funds from task 9 and <br />reallocating them to tasks 1.0 and II. Seconded by Mr. Santos Vote 4-0 <br />The Chair noted this is the official vote of the Commission on the contract amendment and GHD <br />will draft up the amended copy and if the Commissioners trust him to review it, he will then take <br />it to the Town Manager for his signature. The Commissioners agreed. <br />Voucher Signatures <br />The Commissioners signed the voucher for GHD <br />IMAs with adjacent towns <br />The Chair noted nothing has happened since August. Jeff Gregg said last time he met there was <br />a desire for Mashpee, Sandwich and Barnstable on the technical end to further discuss the <br />allocation. Mr. Gregg stated that he prefers not to meet until he better understands the Town's <br />position. There was a lengthy discussion on the approach and whether to use the attenuated <br />number or the unattenuated number or both. <br />Sewer funding <br />The Chair reported the Selectmen are trying to come up with some way to finance the sewer <br />system plus they put out an RFP for a grant that was discussed at the Collaborative, which is for <br />the finance and implementation of a peer review regarding what department will manage the <br />sewer system, a financial review and a study of implementation and phasing of the system. <br />Any news regarding existing private WWTPs <br />Sheldon Gilbert noted they are replacing a few pumps and are doing minor repairs at Stratford <br />Ponds. <br />Status of PRB Study at "Timber.
