MINUTES OF MASHPEE WATERWAYS COMMISSION MEETING <br />JUNE 14, 2016 <br />Vice Chairman MacDonald called the meeting to order at 9:03AM at the <br />Mashpee Town Hall in the Popponesset Meeting Room. <br />PRESENT: Don Barton, Stanton Healy, Don MacDonald, Bill Taylor, AI <br />Wickel <br />ABSENT: Ken Bates, Tim Leedham <br />ALSO IN ATTENDANCE: Doug Cameron (MA Department of Fish & <br />Game/Fishing & Boating Access), DPW Director Catherine Laurent, Mike <br />Ronhock (Shellfish License Applicant), Acting Harbormaster Rick <br />Santangelo, Shellfish Warden Rick York <br />MINUTES OF MEETING MAY 10,2016: Motion made to accept by Stan <br />Healy,2" d by Don Barton and unanimously approved pending correction of <br />Ashley Harrington's name (slb "Ashley" not "Kerry" as recorded in minutes). <br />APPOINTMENTS & INFORMATION SESSIONS: Nothing to report <br />COMMUNICATIONS & CORRESPONDENCE: Communication received <br />from Scott Hyde advocating for a dingy dock at Ockway Bay boat ramp. <br />Action: Don MacDonald to forward communication and accompanying <br />photograph to Catherine Laurent <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />Harbormaster Report: Rick stated he understood there was a candidate <br />under consideration for the position of Harbormaster but he had no <br />additional information on the search for a new Harbormaster. Rick <br />mentioned that he would "proceeding as is". <br />No article submitted for the October Town Meeting for a new boat. Rick will <br />pass on the research he has done to date to the new Harbormaster. No <br />further action required at this time by the Waterways Commission <br />concerning a new boat. <br />
