Shellfish Constable Report: <br />• In Rick York's absence Rick Santangelo reported the three summer hires for DNR <br />Department would be leaving at end of August. Plans were to hire a new graduate <br />in August. It was not known if the open position had been posted. <br />Don MacDonald to check with Rick York on the status of Mike Ronhock's <br />application for a shellfish license for a designated approximately one -acre area <br />in Great River. The stipulation for applicantloperator to remove all gear from <br />the site during town Dredging will be added to the verbiage in the permit. <br />Committee Reports: <br />• Mashpee Lakes: Nothing to report in addition to Rick Santangelo's comments <br />above about complaints on size and horsepower of boats using Johns Pond and. <br />MashpeeMakeby Lake <br />• Popponesset Bay Area. Nothing to report — normal activity <br />• Waguoit Bay Area: Nothing to report — normal activity <br />• Water Quali Update/Water Sampling: Don MacDonald reported training went <br />well and all boat crews were full for sampling on June 22"d. Next sampling date is <br />July 22nd <br />• Barnstable County Coastal Resources Committee Update: Nothing to report <br />• Sewer Committee Update: Nothing to report <br />• Public Access Update: Nothing to report on ramp signage update. <br />• Waterways Improvement Pian and Dredging: "Deadneck" sediment disposal plan <br />approval pending a meeting with MA Department of Natural Resources. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />• Rick Santangelo reported there were problems with people using docks for an <br />extended time. Suggested "Load Time" signage be posted. <br />Motion made by Don MacDonald with 2nd by Tim to allow Ken to move ahead <br />with a plan to post "Load Time" signage at all ramps allowing access to both salt <br />water and fresh water. Unanimous approval. <br />
