REVISED <br /> .,AND DISPOSITION AGREEMENT <br /> BY AND BETWEEN <br /> THE TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> a <br /> AND <br /> HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF CAPE COD,INC. � <br /> AGREEMENT made as of the�day of September 2014, between the <br /> 'SOWN of MASIR"EE, a Massachusetts municipal corporation having its offices at 1 i <br /> Great Neck Road,Mashpee, MA 02649 (the"Town")and HABITAT FOR <br /> HUMANITY OF CAPE COD,INC., a Massachusetts non-profit corporation having its <br /> offices at 411 Main Street, Suite 6,Yarmouthport,MA 02675 "Habitat" , (and . <br /> collectively,the"parties"). <br /> WHEREAS, the Town ovens Parcels of lard in Mashpee,Bamstable County, <br /> Massachusetts, commonly known and numbered as follows: <br /> 1.- 108 Orchard Road,Assessor's Map 69, Block 18, consisting of 19,5001 sq. <br /> i <br /> 2. 68 Strawberry Avenue also known as 132 Qudnaquisset Avenue,Assessor's <br /> Map 69,Block 6, consisting of l 0,00 0±sq. ft.; and referred to hereinafter as <br /> 132 Quinaquisset Avenue. <br /> (Each hereinafter referred to individually as a' arc l"and collectively"'the <br /> Parcels"); <br /> . WHEREAS,the Town acknowledges an objective to create affordable housing <br /> that qual, ies towards a state-mandated goal of having 10%of the Town's year-round , <br /> housing stock affordable; and <br /> WHEREAS,Habitat is a non-profit corporation and an affliate of Habitat for . <br /> Humanity International, engaged in the construction of homes for families in need o <br /> housing through the use of private donations of money and materials,volunteer labor and <br /> sweat equity;and <br /> A REAS, Article 16 of the Special Town Meeting vagrant,adopted by a <br /> majority of eligible voters at the Special Town Meeting of October 21,2013,authorized <br /> that",...those Parcels shown on the FY 2013 Ma hpee Assessors" Maps as Map 6 9,Block <br /> 1. (108 Orchard Road) and Map 69,Block 6 (132 Quinaquissett Avenue) shall not be <br /> hold by the Town as conservation lana; and further;vote that said Parcels shall be <br /> transferred from the care and custody of the Custodian of Tax Foreclosed Property to the <br /> Board of Selectmen for purposes of donation or sale to an entity or entities engaged in the <br /> development of affordable housing for sale or rental to persons of low or gory low . <br />
