Minutes of Combined Meeting of f <br />Mashpee Design Review Committee and <br />Mashpee Plan Review Committee <br />Held Tuesday, December 1, 2015 <br />Mashpee Town Hall – Waquoit Meeting Room <br />Design Review Members Present: Joseph Cummings and Jonathan Furbush <br />Plan Review Members Present: <br />Catherine Laurent, DPW Director <br />Michael Mendoza, Building Commissioner <br />Rodney Collins, Town Manager <br />Tom Fudala, Town Planner <br />Scott Carline – Police Chief <br />Glen Harrington, Health Agent <br />John Phelan, Deputy Fire Chief <br />Audience: Sam Houghton – Mashpee Enterprise <br />Michael Mendoza called the meeting to order at 9:02 a.m. <br />17 Alma Road <br />Construct telecommunications compound and <br />150' Monopole <br />Turning Mill Consultants <br />Representative – Mike Wilson Garrison Development <br />Applicant cancelled—formally withdrew via email. <br />Michael Mendoza advised that on November 30th he received a letter from Cape Cod Commission <br />that Mashpee New Seabury Cell Tower is to appear before the Cape Cod Commission on January <br />14, 2016. <br />Mike noted for recording in the minutes that 2 letters addressed to Design Review/Plan Review <br />Committee stating disapproval to the Cell Tower were hand -delivered this morning from Mary Lou <br />Bast, 61 Spoondrift Way, and from Rick and Joan Hoffman, 4 Westwood Road. <br />68 Echo Road—Minor Modification <br />Industrial Building for wholesale trade contractor services <br />Changing width of building from 60 ft. to 80 ft. width and <br />Length from 165 ft. to 125 ft. and adjust parking. <br />Representative – Louis Seminara,_ Owner <br />Louis Seminara appeared and said he built a building on 58 Echo Road and took out permit for 68 <br />Echo Road building, which was approved for 60' wide building, but they want to change to 80' wide <br />and to shorten approved length of 160' to 124.6 '. Mr. Seminara said the longer building is too tight <br />and can't get trucks to the loading dock and that's why he's asking for this modification. He said this <br />building will be same as building approved on 58 Echo Road—everything same except 20' wider from <br />street. This building will match 58 building; will not go over 10,000 feet threshold. <br />
