Stuart Bornstein, a local contractor, has unofficially agreed to build a duplex on this property at no cost to <br />the Trust; however, this only includes labor - no materials. <br />The Trust is in the process of looking for suitable property to be transferred to them so that they can get <br />started building the duplex. The Trust is also looking at ways to do fundraising as well as suggestions on <br />ways to get something built. Eric suggested that they look at the Town's website to identify parcels of land <br />that the Town can donate to the Trust. After the property is identified, the next step is to make a <br />presentation to the Selectmen. <br />Zella, Louise, and Deb are also members of the Trust. They are hoping that this will assist with smoother <br />communications, between the Committee and the Trust. <br />);o /So,,,,, � �o: I mn: Minutes of the meetings will be shared with Committee and Trust <br />Zella asked if being on both committees would be a conflict of interest. The new Charter states that <br />effective July 1, a person can only serve on one committee. This might also present a problem if there are <br />any voting issues. <br />AciicjnlAem: Zella and Louise to contact State Ethics Board to see if there are any conflicts with <br />their status serving on both the Committee and the Trust. <br />Housing Authority <br />HAC attended the Affordable Housing Committee meeting in October. Unfortunately, they went away with <br />some misunderstandings. <br />N(,,Ii(n,� II lcr�i: Eric will invite them to attend the May Affordable Housing Committee meeting to bring <br />the Committee up to date on their projects. <br />New Business <br />Lottery <br />There was a lot of discussion regarding the lottery process. Several questions were posed: <br />® What qualifies as a Mashpee resident? <br />• How are they identified? <br />• Who qualifies as a priority? <br />Guidelines are in the 40B regulations; however the Committee would like some clarification on resident <br />guidelines. There will be an informational meeting on April 13, 2005. Applications will be distributed at <br />this meeting. All applications will need a bank approval to be submitted with the application. Alice feels <br />the Committee should be involved in the informational meeting. Zella will coordinate the meeting. <br />Membershil) Status <br />The Selectmen will be looking to see how many Corni-nittees, will be affected by the new Charter. They <br />will identify which Committees will have the biggest impact.
