COUNCIL ON AGING MINUTES <br />January 14, 2015 <br />Present: Council on Aging Members Irving Goldberg, Jack Jordan, Virginia McIntyre, <br />Marijo Gorney, Jean Noussee, Jack Dorsey, Ernest Cornelssen, Norah McCormick, <br />Council on Aging Director Lynne Waterman, Outreach Coordinator Darlene Perkins and <br />Volunteer Coordinator Deborah Converse <br />Chairman Irving Goldberg opened the meeting at 8:35 a.m. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES — December 10, 2014 <br />Motion: Jack Jordan moved to approve the minutes of December 10, 2014, seconded <br />by Jack Dorsey. Vote unanimous 8-0 <br />Public Comments <br />None <br />COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE <br />DIRECTOR'S REPORT <br />Director Lynne Waterman distributed her report for the month of December. She noted <br />the initial meeting of the activity subcommittee met and thanked Jack Jordan, Marijo <br />Gorney and Ginny McIntyre for participating and giving her guidance. <br />i <br />The Director reported there were no issues with the van in December_ She thanked the <br />men's club for donating the microwave oven, the DPW and IT for their work on <br />installation of fiber optics, the Mashpee Garden Club for their annual decorating of the <br />senior center for the holidays, and the DPW who replaced the valve on the sprinkler <br />system and repaired the counter area in the ladies' bathroom. She noted she will be <br />meeting with the Garden Club in the near future to discuss decorations for the upcoming <br />year. <br />Lynne reviewed the meetings she attended: Parkinson's Support Network of Cape Cod, <br />Board of Directors, Department Head, Staff and Budget. <br />The Director reported the van driver returned from leave and she completed his annual <br />evaluation. She also interviewed the candidates for the office assistant position, Lynne <br />stated that she completed the Council on Aging Town Report and distributed a copy to <br />the members for their review. She also trained the seniors who will be assisting the <br />Council on Aging as part of the Property Tax Work -off Program. She noted her goals are <br />
