OLD BUSINESS <br />1. Septic Loan Application Approval: <br />A. 87 Lighthouse Lane. <br />Glen Harrington commented that he delivered the application and informed the owners of 87 Lighthouse Lane <br />of this meeting. <br />B. 12 Ashumet Road. <br />Mr. Harrington remarked that the loan application has not been submitted. The septic tank was pumped as <br />previously required by the Board of Health at 12 Ashumet Road. <br />These properties were scheduled to be revisited after the Mashpee Town Meeting once the warrants were <br />reviewed and approved. <br />ADDITIONAL TOPICS <br />None. <br />DISCUSSION <br />1. Meeting Update — Mashpee Cares Committee Meeting: Lucy Burton. <br />Lucy Burton stated that she has not been able to attend the past two Mashpee Cares Committee Meetings <br />because of the 5:00 PM meeting time. Most of the members are Town employees. Ms. Burton has requested <br />copies of the minutes of the meetings so that she can remain up to date with any issues that are discussed. <br />Another presentation or event will take place prior to the end of the school year. <br />2. Meeting Update —Waste Management Committee Meeting: Kalllope Egloff. <br />The Waste Management Committee Meeting was cancelled. <br />3. Household Hazardous Waste Day. <br />Kalliope Egloff remarked that the Household Hazardous Waste Day will take place at Falmouth High School on <br />June 20, 2015, at 9:00 AM. Ms. Egloff would like to see more small businesses attend. Ms. Egloff commented <br />that at Sandwich High School 25,000 pounds of hazardous waste were collected within 4 hours. Catherine <br />Laurent, Department of Public Works Director, sent emails to Mashpee residents informing them of the <br />collection date. The funding for the brochures that are mailed to the residents and businesses of Barnstable <br />County will no longer be available after this year. <br />Lucy Burton made a motion that the Board of Health adjourn the Public Session Meeting, to enter into <br />Executive Session, not to return to the Public Session. Kalliope Egloff seconded the motion. The motion was <br />unanimously approved. <br />Roll Call Vote: Lucy Burton, yes; Kalliope Egloff, yes. <br />NEXT MEETING <br />The next meeting of the Board of Health is scheduled for Thursday, June 4, 2015, at 7:00 PM. As there was no <br />further business, Lucy Burton made a motion to adjourn the Public Session Meeting of the Board of Health at <br />7:40 PM. Kalliope Egloff seconded the motion.
