Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 FINANCE COMMITTEE - PUBLIC SESSION Mashpee Town Hall — Selectmen's Conference Room Thursday, January 8, 2015 -- 6:30 PM Committee Members Present: Theresa Cook, Chairman Charles Gasior, Vice Chairman Tom Murphy, Clerk Christopher Avis David DelPonte Oskar Klenert George Schmidt Also Present: Joyce Mason, Town Manager Tom Mayo, Assistant Town Manager CALL TO ORDER Chairman Theresa Cook called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. PUBLIC COMMENTS -- None. APPROVAL OF MINUTES — 1211812014 Oskar Klenert made a motion that the minutes of the 12/18/2014 Finance Committee meeting be approved as presented. Charles Gasior seconded the motion. Roil Call Vote: Christopher Avis, yes; David DelPonte, yes; Charles Gasior, yes; Oskar Klenert, yes; Tom Murphy, yes; Theresa. Cook, yes; George Schmidt, abstained. The motion was approved by a vote of 6-0 with one abstention. NEW BUSINESS • Finance Committee 2014 Town of Mashpee Annual Report The committee members reviewed the annual report draft prepared by Charles Gasior and offered some suggestions for amendments to the document. After discussion of the suggested changes, Tom Murphy made a motion to approve the recommended amendments to the Annual Report. Oskar Klenert seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Chris Avis, yes; Theresa Cook, yes; Tom Murphy, yes; David DelPonte, yes; Oskar Klenert yes; Charles Gasior, yes; George Schmidt, yes. The motion was unanimously approved by a vote of 7-0. Theresa Cook will incorporate the approved recommended changes into the document for delivery to the Town Manager. • Reserve Fund Transfer Request Joyce Mason requested a transfer of $3,492.00 from the reserve fund to the Town Clerk's postage budget, to cover unanticipated costs of mailing of the census via a new system for mailing. Charles Gasior made a motion to approve the transfer request of $3,492.00 from the reserve fund to the Town Clerk's postage budget, to cover the unanticipated cost of the census mailing. Roll Call Vote: Chris Avis, yes; Charles Gasior, yes; Oskar Klenert, yes; David DelPonte, yes; George Schmidt, yes; Tom Murphy, yes; Theresa Cook, yes. The motion was approved by a vote of 7-0.
