• Liaison Reports <br />School Committee: George Schmidt reported attendance at the most recent School Committee <br />meeting, and stated that the Pre -School program is going very well. Three high school seniors <br />gave a presentation of the projects they are working on this year. On January 21,2015 the School <br />Committee will vote on approval of their budget. George Schmidt noted that all non-union <br />employees will be receiving a 2% pay increase. <br />• Board of Selectmen Liaison Report, None. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />• FY 2016 Budget Discussion <br />The committee members together reviewed the proposed budget for 2016. Christopher Avis <br />stated that he had reviewed the line items through the first half of the budget and had earmarked <br />his questions for clarification. Line items noted for clarification included the following: <br />-Conservation, Council on Aging, DPW, Human Resources, Human Services. <br />Joyce Mason stated that she will have preliminary numbers in time for the 1/29/15 Finance <br />Committee meeting. <br />The Public Hearing Date for the 2016 budget is set for March 19, 2015. <br />NEXT MEETING <br />The next meeting of the Finance Committee is scheduled for Thursday, January 29, 2015, 6:30 PM <br />at Mashpee Town Hall. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />As there was no further business, George Schmidt made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Oskar Klenert seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Christopher Avis, yes; Oskar Klenert, yes; <br />Charles Gasior, yes; David DelPonte, yes; Tom Murphy, yes; Theresa Cook, yes; George Schmidt, <br />yes.
