Robert Lancaster seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> • Introduction of new Committee Member Applicants <br /> Jeri Smith recognized the two new committee applicants, Joe Bohnenberger and Robert Palmer, and <br /> welcomed them to the meeting. Robert Palmer stated that he had lived on the Cape his entire life and <br /> had an interest in contributing to the improvement and preservation of the South Cape Beach State Park. <br /> Joe Bohnenberger stated that he was a former Mass. State Police Officer, a Mashpee resident for the <br /> past 17 years, and has a candid interest in what is going on with the development of the State Park. <br /> Mike Cardeiro made a motion that the Committee approve the appointment of the two applicants, Joe <br /> Bohnenberger and Robert Palmer, and welcomed them aboard the South Cape Beach State Park <br /> Advisory Committee. Don Clarke seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> Jeri Smith will send the Committee's recommendation of the appointment of Joe Bohnenberger and <br /> Robert Palmer to Town Clerk, and reminded the two new members to stop by the Town Clerk's office to <br /> sign the Appointment Book. The Board of Selectmen must also approve their appointment to the <br /> Committee. <br /> WBNERR REPORT—John Singleton, State Park Supervisor <br /> John Singleton stated that despite the past rough winter, the South Cape Beach was not affected and <br /> remains status quo. The gates to the State Park beach have been open since the Friday before Memorial <br /> Day. On Sunday, May 24th, the bike rack was destroyed. The following Tuesday the bathrooms were <br /> tipped over. <br /> 1 <br />
