Rodney Collins stated that he walks the beach with <br /> regularity and has a keen interest in maintenance of the Mashpee beach property for the ongoing future. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES —June 2, 2015 <br /> Mike Cardeiro made a motion that the minutes from the June 2, 2015 committee meeting be approved as <br /> presented. Robert Lancaster seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Mike Cardeiro, yes; Perry Ellis, yes; <br /> Joe Bohnenberger, yes; Don Clarke, yes; Robert Lancaster, yes; Bill Martiros, yes;; Lewis Newell, yes; <br /> Janice Souza, yes. The motion was approved by a vote of(9-0) with one absentee. <br /> WELCOME TO NEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS <br /> Jeri Smith acknowledged Janet Souza and Joe Bohnenberger as newly appointed members of the <br /> committee , and welcomed them. Robert Palmer, also a newly appointed member, was unable to attend <br /> today's meeting due to a conflict with his work schedule. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> • Review of Application of New Committee Member <br /> Jeri introduced Mike Sweatman to the committee, stating that he had forwarded a letter of interest <br /> in beimappointed to the South Cape Beach State Park Advisory Committee. Mike Sweatman stated that <br /> he is year-round Mashpee resident since 2007 and would like to give back to the community that he has <br /> come to love and truly call home. He stated further that he is retired and has the time and energy to be <br /> an active committee member, and has an interest in conservation and considers South Cape Beach as <br /> one of the truly valuable assets of Mashpee. <br /> X <br />
