Finally, Rick indicated that <br /> excellent shellfish growth and conditions have been observed which is quite positive. <br /> Mashpee Wakeby Report: Don McDonald reported there were no new developments other than <br /> waiting for a report from the Town on assistance with the power loading problems. We need help to <br /> remove the shoal. Don remarked that the boat size issue does not appear to be a problem this year. <br /> Public Access Report: No new reports other than Rick York commented that the precast concrete slabs <br /> for ramps would be advantageous. <br /> Popponesset Bay/Waquoit Bay Report: The huge presence of heavy boat traffic and lines at town <br /> ramps over the 4th July weekend was unprecedented. Ken felt that boaters were celebrating the relief <br /> from the bitter winter. Steve mentioned that one rescue in Popponesset Bay was successfully <br /> conducted. <br /> Sewer Committee: Don Barton gave Ken a disk, received at the last meeting, containing the entire <br /> Mashpee Comprehensive Waste Water Plan that has been 15 years in the development. At the Sewer <br /> Committee Meeting tonight,this document will be reviewed by the CCC and MEPA as part of the <br /> approval process. <br /> Water Quality Update: Don McDonald reported that the water sampling on 6 July was successful. The <br /> next testing date is July 20th. Due to abnormally low tides and low water at several collection points, <br /> Don stated collection times will be moved up slightly to compensate. <br /> Barnstable County Coastal Resource Commission: Nothing new to report <br /> Waterways Improvement Plan and Dredging: Ken stated that the issuance of the Chapter 91, <br /> Comprehensive Water Permit is still held up and he will monitor the status. Ken also remarked about <br /> the success of the "Save the Bay"effort at Poppy and that the dune grass is growing well to aid the total <br /> reclamation effort. <br /> New Business: For purposes of fulfilling the Reorganization requirement for the Town, Don MacDonald <br /> made a motion to retain the present organization. The motion was seconded and unanimously <br /> approved. Ken requested that membership sign the book in the Town Clerks Office. <br /> Motion to adjourn was made by Tim Leedham and 2nd by Don Barton at 10:60 AM. <br /> �� l <br />
